A charming private one-bedroom rental cottage on the south side of
St. John
with views of Reef Bay and Rams Head in the distance. Perfect of
honeymooners, couples getaway or professionals on business looking to
stay outside of Cruz Bay.
Reef Bay Rental
Cottage (1,102 Sq Ft. Living Space) on St. John is furnished with all the comforts of an island
home. The living room has a full size sofa and
chair; native stone accent walls, floor-to-ceiling glass windows and doors
with privacy curtains. Just draw them back for views of the Caribbean Sea,
sunrise over Rams Head or watch local surfers when the waves are up.
The queen-sized four poster traditional West Indian mahogany bed is
elevated.
Adjoining the bathroom is a private tiled outdoor shower. The pool is
located up the hill, on the grounds between cottage and main house. The pool
deck is furnished with chaise lounge chairs and market umbrella for shade.
We can point you in the right direction for sport fishing,
kayaking, biking and hiking trails. The north side of the
island has lots of white sugar sand beaches within the National Park,
a 20-30 minute drive from Reef Bay Cottage. Coral Bay
is about 30-40 minutes drive. Coral Bay is a 'must stop for a bite to
eat' before heading out to Salt Pond or Lameshur beaches.
The cottage is located on lower part of property with it's own separate
driveway/off-street parking. Owners live on same property at the main house.
The pool is exclusive for guest use during their stay, located up the hill
on the grounds between cottage and main house. We have prevailing trade wind
breezes and have the patio on the leeward side of the cottage. There are a
couple of princess balconies where guests have enjoyed many hours enjoying
the unobstructed sea view.
Reef Bay beaches: About 200 yards pass the cottage, is the start of the
National Park trailhead to the white sandy beach. Agility is required to
access this trail. Enjoy the beach or continue the trail along the
waterfront to reach the petro glyphs or the White Cliffs on the eastern end
of the far beach. If you decide to take it easy on the beach in front, on a
calm day, it has some of the best snorkeling to be found on St. John.
When the surf is up, from dawn to dusk, you will find children of all ages
surfing the waves.
